She squeezed the red hunter’s hand. “Thank you Zero. To make it up, you can pick the next ride.”“Sounds good. I just hope whatever it is that I pick is alright for you.” He said as he seemed more relaxed now. He admired more designs on the wall as he held her hand gently.
Iris smiled and rested her head gently on Zero’s shoulder. The boat continued to drift on until it returned to the entrance. “Ah, looks like the ride is finished.”
He continued to hold her hand as he slowly made his way to the edge of the boat, placing one foot onto the steps from the outside of the ride. “After you…” he said, as he waited to help her off.
“Thank you, Zero.” Iris began as she stepped out of the boat, “Where shall we head off to next?
He helped her down the stairs of the ride and thought to himself, unsure if he even wanted to ask now or later. “Uhh….Like anything fast? I was thinking about trying a roller coaster but I’m not sure if you’d like to join me.”
“Umm…” Iris fidgeted nervously. “S-Sure! We can give one a try.”
He couldn’t help but chuckle a little, hearing the nervous tone in her voice. “Are you sure? You don’t sound too confident. We could try something else if you’re not up for it.”
